Service Description
This course is comprised of 3 classes of 2 hours each. (total of 6 hours) Absolutely no experience is needed. For complete beginners or for getting back to the basics if it's been a while. Choose your project: dishcloth, beanie, scarf or twisted neck cowl. You'll come away with all of the fundamentals so you can confidently make any beginner pattern for yourself or a gift for someone you love. More and more people are discovering the therapeutic benefits of crochet. It helps calm an anxious mind, and making something with your own 2 hands gives a sense of joy and accomplishment. Workshops are limited to 5 students. This allows for students to learn at their own pace and have personalized attention from the teacher. Materials for the project of your choice will be provided. You don't need to bring anything but your enthusiasm to learn. Week 1 - How to hold a hook and yarn, practice simple stitches, advance at your own pace. Week 2 - Review of week 1, begin project of your choice (dishcloth, beanie, scarf or twisted neck cowl). Learn to read a pattern from start to finish. Week 3 - Complete your project. If you're a quick learner and finish your project in week 2 or at home, you can start a new project. Each class is 2 hours for a total of 6 hours. $90 including materials
